Jay Iyengar, M.D. Medical Director
Jay Iyengar, M.D. has been practicing interventional pain management for the past 12 years and has extensive experience with various interventional pain management procedures. He is board certified in pain management and has completed his pain management fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
He is also board certified in Anesthesiology, completing his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of South Carolina. He has also received training in surgery and has experience as a clinical transplant fellow at the University of Connecticut Medical Center. He served as the director of the Pain Clinic at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington prior to starting an office-based interventional pain practice which was one of the first of its kind in the state of Washington and the country.
Jay Iyengar, M.D. performs all procedures under fluoroscopic guidance. He uses advances in the art and science of fluoroscopy in conjunction with his knowledge of spinal anatomy and pathophysiology to perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in the spine.
He has dedicated his entire career to the management of chronic pain
with interventional and innovative pain management techniques. He
strives to remain at the forefront of treating patients with pain by
using the most current and efficacious pain management techniques
available.
